Document signed, one page - blind seal to the lower left corner, 10 x 14 inch, `Im Namen des Führers` letterhead, Berlin, 9.11.1943, appointment for `Kriminalkommissar` (detective superintendent) Karl Duncker as `Kriminalrat` (Criminal Counsellor), signed by Ernst Kaltenbrunner as `Reichsminister des Innern` in blue ink "E. Kaltenbrunner", with intersecting folds, mild browning and creasing to the edges - in fine condition. Accompanied by an original vintage photograph (Keystone), shows Kaltenbrunner after his execution (at Nuremberg he was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and was sentenced to death by hanging).
