Typed letter signed, one page, 8,25 x 10,75 inch, Vienna, 21.01.1932, in German, reply letter to Mr. Sil Benedict/Ilja Livschakoff Orchester - concerning a Potpourri and a meeting in Berlin, signed in pencil "E. Kalman", with intersecting letter folds, perforated to the upper edge, and a few tears to the right edge - in nearly fine condition.
"Sehr geehrter Herr Benedict !
Ich danke Ihnen für Ihr Schreiben und werde mich sehr freuen, wenn Ich Gelegenheit haben werde, Ihre Arbeit, das Potpourri aus Ronny kennen zu lernen. Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Berlin werde ich Sie gewiss persönlich sprechen und wir werden über alle Fragen die Sie in Ihrem lieben Schreiben angeschnitten haben, persönlich verhandeln können. [...]"
Translated:
"Dear Mr. Benedict,
Thank you for your letter. I would be delighted to have the opportunity to get to know your work, the Ronny Potpourri. During my next visit to Berlin, I will certainly speak with you personally, and we will be able to discuss all the questions you raised in your kind letter. [...]"
