Autograph subscription signed, two page (both sides) - with stamps, 4,75 x 3 inch, Brighton, 27.07.1832*, written and signed in dark ink "Grey", affixed (verso with tape) with a photograph of Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey in a mount (altogether 11 x 14 inch), with signs of age wear - in fine to very fine condition.
* Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the House of Lords from 1830 to 1834. As prime minister, Grey introduced the Representation of the People Act of 1832, which expanded the electorate in the British Empire, and the Slavery Abolition Act of 1833, which abolished slavery in the British Empire.
