Description
Handwritten manuscript fragment with signed `MRC` compliment card, one page (on the reverse of a printed page) - numbered `6`, 8,25 x 11,75 inch, manuscript fragment with scientific content - concerning antibody research, with a few corrections, written in pencil & signed (on the stapled card) in red felt tip "César Milstein", with mild intersecting letter folds - in fine to very fine condition.
In parts:
"[...] Further passages using spleen fragments from the recipient animal and antigen allowed proliferation and hopefully purification of the original clone. In this way an essentially monoclonal antibody preparation of a predefined specificity was possible, although no formal clonal purification or immortality was achieved. [...]"
