Signed vintage card, 6 x 4,25 inch, signed and dated in dark ink "Wm. Faulkner - Sao Paolo 12 Aug. 1954" (with an unknown inscription above), attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph of Faulkner at a typewriter (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), in very fine condition.
Faulkner went on a state-sponsored trip in 1954 to attend an International Writers` Congress in Sao Paulo, spending six days there; however, he participated very little in the conference, as he reportedly spent most of the trip intoxicated.
