Typed letter signed, one page, 7,5 x 9,25 inch, 22.09.1978, reply letter to Mr. C. Davis - concerning an autograph request and the question about the future of the science, signed by Nikolay N. Semyonov in blue ballpoint ink (Cyrillic), with intersecting letter folds and slightly trimmed edges - in fine to very fine condition.
In parts:
"... I can admit that the question about the future of the science are presented in different ways by scientists.
My personal predictions on that field of science in which I work stated at the UNESCO Conference four years ago.
At present I am quite sure that just these problems, concerning wide use of solar energy, chemical methods of good production, liquidation of pullution of the air and etc. allow us to solve the main living problems..."
