Signed album page, 3,75 x 2,5 inch, Elmwood, 19.12.1874, signed and dated in black ink "Yours very truly - J. R. Lowell - Elmwood, 19th Dec., 1874", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows James Russell Lowell in a head and shoulders portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), in very fine condition.
