Letter signed, one page, 7,5 x 9,5 inch, Berlin, 24.02.1815, in German, to "your Excellency" (translated) - concerning the request for writings, signed in black ink, attractively mounted (removable) for display with a portrait picture of Prussian army officer Hermann von Boyen in uniform (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with letter folds, and mild signs of age wear - in fine condition.
"Es sind wahrscheinlich über die Errichtung, Verfassung und
den Dienst des Bürger Militairs in Hamburg, Instructionen
Verordnungen und dergleichen in Druck erschienen, und da
es mir sehr wünschenswerth ist, von allen diesen Schriften
ein Exemplar zu erhalten, so wende ich mich an Ew. Ex-
cellenz mit der ganz ergebensten Bitte, es für mich ankau-
fen zu lassen, und es mir unter Angabe des Preises geneig-
test übersenden zu wollen. Indem ich hiebei ganz auf Ihre
mit bekannte Güte rechne, und denenselben schon im Voraus
meinen Dank dafür abstatte, bitte ich nur, daß Ew. Excel-
lenz es entschuldigen wollen, Sie mit dieser Angelegenheit zu
beschweren.

gezeichneten Hochachtung.
