Muller, Hermann Joseph

Typed letter signed, one page, 8,25 x 11 inch, `Indiana University` stationery, Bloomington (Indiana), 7.12.1950, reply letter to Dr Amram Scheinfeld - Hermann Joseph Muller thanks his correspondent for the sending of "the fine looking copy of your book", signed in dark ink "H. J. Muller", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Muller as scientist (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with two horizontal letter folds and creases to the edges - in fine condition.

"Let me say how delighted I was to receive the fine looking copy of your book yesterday. I much appreciate the inscription and the fact that you sent me the first copy. Of course, I have not as yet had time to more than glance through it but it is exceedingly attractive looking inside as well as out, and whatever I read hit the right spot in me. I do hope that it will have the big sale which I am sure it deserves and that it will go far towards filling the present crying need for a public better educated along these lines.

I am sending you reprints of a few of my recent articles, including that of the article of which I lent you manuscript some months ago.
