Autograph letter signed, one page, 4,5 x 7 inch, in German, to Mr Kugel - concerning a rehearsal and payment for an artist, written and signed in dark ink "Hans Richter", with mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition.

"Lieber Herr Kugel!
Wann kommt Herr Holmann? – es ist wegen der Probe. –
Spielt er umsonst? – Wenn für Honorar, keinesfalls mehr als 100 fl. Dieß muß ich im Interesse unserer Herrn sagen; von mir aus müßte jeder Künstler gut bezahlt werden, aber ich kann nicht mehr thun.
