Original handdrawn sketch signed, shows a self-portrait sketch of Grock, on a bookpage*, 5 x 7,25 inch, drawn and signed in blue ballpoint ink "zur Erinnerung - Grock", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Grock in a costume portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with browning, a diagonal bend, and signs of wear to the edges - in nearly fine condition.
*Accompanied by the corresponding book: `Grock: Ein Leben als Clown - Meine Erinnerungen`, in German. Zirkus Grock edition, Hoch-Verlag GmbH, Düsseldorf, 1951, soft cover book, 5,25 x 7,25 inch, 226 pages, with signs of wear - in nearly fine condition.
