Year of Birth: 1865
Georg, King of Great Britain, was born on June 4, 1738, in London, England. He was the son of Frederick, Prince of Wales, and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Gotha. Georg became king in 1760 after the death of his grandfather, King George II.
As king, Georg faced many challenges, including dealing with the American Revolutionary War and the War of the Austrian Succession. He also had to navigate the political landscape of Europe, as well as internal conflicts within Britain.
