Autograph letter signed, two pages - both sides, 4,5 x 3,5 inch, Paris, 4.05.(1901), in French, to an unnamed gentleman - concerning an appointment and the taking of quinine, written and signed in black ink "A. Laveran", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Alphonse Laveran in a chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), in very fine condtion.

J`ai l`honneur de vous informer que vous me trouverez chez moi Dimanche à 6 h du soir, j`espère que le jour et l`heure vous conviendront, je suis très occupé en ce moment et il me serait très difficile de vous doner u autre rendez-vous. En attendant vous pouvez toujours prendre de le quinine (un cachet de chlorhydrate de quinine 0 gr,80 chaque jour -
