Ayrton Senna da Silva was born in 1960 in São Paulo, Brazil. He was a Brazilian race car driver and three-time Formula One World Champion. He was the Brazilian Karting Champion in 1977 and 1978, and in 1983, he won his first major open-wheel race, the South American Formula Three Championship.
