Signed vintage matte-finish studio photograph (by Valdman, Saratow), shows Alexander Gretchaninov in a half length portrait, 4 x 5,5 inch - on the photographer`s mount: 6,75 x 9,5 inch, St. Petersburg, 4.11.1912, signed and inscribed (in Russian) in black ink "To the dear Pavel Yakovlevich - Kurzner - as a reminder - A. Gretchaninov" (translated) - additionally with an autograph musical quotation: three bars of music from `4 Fables after Ivan Krylov` for medium voice and piano (op.33) with text "Ah Mischa, how nice!" (translated), with a scattered mild stains and mild signs of wear to the edges - in fine condition.
