Staudinger` (State Research Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry) letterhead, Freiburg i. Br., 26.01.1949, in German, to Prof. Dr. F. L. Breusch - reply letter concerning a telegram, signed in blue ink "H. Staudinger", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Hermann Staudinger in a close-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with a mild stain at the right edge - in nearly very fine condition.
"Sehr geehrter Herr Kollege! Ihr Telegramm habe ich erhalten und habe daraufhin an die Herren Reichstein und Rupegeschrieben. Den weiteren Verlauf der Dinge abwartend, verbleibe ich - mit den besten Grüssen - Ihr H. Staudinger"
Translated: "...Upon receipt of your telegram I have written to gentlemen Reichstein and Rupe. Awaiting further details - with best wishes - H. Staudinger"
