Description
Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 7 inch, (1924), in French, to "Mon cher Patin" - Henry de Montherlant asks to announce his " Histoire de la Petite 19" (Paris, Bernard Grasset 1924) in the "Figaro", written and signed in black ink "Montherlant", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Henry de Montherlant seated in a chair (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), in very fine condition.

"... Ces jours-ci parait de moi une petite histoire d`amour, intitule Histoire de la Petite 19, en tirage limite - 400 exemplaires - chez Grasset, avec un bois de Gasperini d`apres mon portrait par Blanche. Auriez vous la gentillesse d`annoncer cela ou de le faire annoncer dans le Figaro? ..."
