A collection of letters cards and papers with British actress Norma West (1943-) and her participation in Fellini`s 1983 film `And the Ship Sails On`, including:

1) Norma West’s working script for the film, signed by West, with a manuscript note from West laid in. 

2) Three signed letters from Fellini to "Normina", all about 8 x 11 inch, two typed (one partly in Italian, saying "Yesterday evening I asked you 'Are you a good girl?' and you in the dark of the corridor have answered very simple and sure 'Yes' and after a little moment 'I am very transparent'. I have been very touched and I still think to this answer, because I don't know if I could say the same thing about myself"; the other discussing a dream Norma had mentioned to Fellini "There must be something in your past that will explain why you consider to merit a curse of some unknown divinity") and one handwritten ("It was very touching yesterday to see your pale eyes became wet any five minutes [...] You have the face and the colour and the behaviours of the picture that I have done, a picture that I don’t know if I wanted really to do or not, a picture that I should must love more and invece (I don't know how to say invece in English) I have hated"); three autograph cards signed (about 4 x 2,5 inch) accompanying flowers sent to West by Fellini, in their own envelopes; manuscript notes of telephone numbers in Fellini's hand; a souvenir programme of the national premiere of 'And the Ship Sails On' on September 25th, 1983, with three press photographs of the cast and of the press screening; and two signed photographs of West from this film; v.s.
