Description
Autograph note signed, one page - on a printed visiting card, 4 x 2,25 inch, to an unnamed friend - concerning a list of literary pieces, written and signed in dark ink "Anatole France", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows the French novelist Anatole France in a head and shoulders portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild browning - in nearly very fine condition.
"Cher ami,
après avoir fait une revue littéraire des [illegible] miniatures de madame de Caillavit, je vous propose les pieces dont vous trouverez la liste avec cette carte qui vous porte mes amities speciales - Anatole France"
Translated:
"Dear friend,
after having done a literary review of the [illegible] miniatures of Madame de Caillavit, I offer you the pieces which you will find the list with this card which brings you my special regards - Anatole France"
