"[...] 1. Meiner Meinung nach kommt eine Injektion durch den Herzkatheter schneller und konzentrierter in das Herz, als eine periphere intravenöse Injektion.
2. In meiner ersten Arbeit (Klin. Wochenschrift 1929) habe ich beschrieben, daß ich zur Vermeidung einer immerhin möglichen Blutung aus Kranzgefäßen oder ihren Ästen eine intracardiale Injektion lieber vermeiden würde, wenn ein Harzkatheter zur Hand ist. [...]"

"[...] 1. In my opinion, an injection through the cardiac catheter gets into the heart faster and more concentrated than a peripheral intravenous injection.
2. In my first paper (Klin. Wochenschrift 1929) I wrote that I would prefer to avoid an intracardial injection if a resin catheter was available, in order to avoid the possibility of bleeding from the coronary vessels or their branches. [...]"
