Autograph letter with signed, one page, 7,75 x 10 inch, Paris, 29.04.1895, in French, to an unnamed correspondent - Massenet praises the qualities of the conductor Brument, written and signed in black ink "Massenet", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Jules Massenet in a chest-up portrait (altogether 16,5 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds mild foxing - in fine condition.
"Je suis heureux de l`occasion qui m`est offerte d`appuyer la demande de M. Brument dont j`ai pu apprécier les remarquables qualités de chef d`orchestre, notament dans les splendides fêtes musicales données par la societé philharmonique à Amiens sous sa direction.
M. Brument est un artiste de grand mérite et c`est un homme absolument distingué et honorable.
