Autograph letter with handdrawn sketch signed, one page - addressed verso (with postage stamp), 4,5 x 5 inch, (Paris), "Brumaire 99" [21.11.1891], in French, to Jules Danbé (1840-1905, French violinist, composer and conductor, mainly of opera) - Massenet thanks his correspondent for a program, written and signed in black ink "J. Ma" - with an added sketch of pouring rain, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Jules Massenet in a chest-up portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
