Autograph letter signed (monogrammed), one page, 4 x 5 inch, `Office of All the Year Round - a weekly journal conducted by Charles Dickens` letterhead, (London), 17.08.1863, to actress Mary Boyle (a childhood friend of Dickens) - concerning a visit of her, written and signed in blue ink "CD", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Dickens in a chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition. Accompanied by Daily News clippings from June 10, 1870 on Dickens' death.
