Autograph quotation signed, one page (cardboard), 4,5 x 3,5 inch, Tunis, 21.08.1934, quotation from Bernard Le Bovier de Fontenelle*, written and signed in dark ink "C. Nicolle", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Charles Nicolle seated at a desk (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.

* Bernard Le Bovier de Fontenelle (1657-1757) French author and an influential member of three of the academies of the Institut de France, noted especially for his accessible treatment of scientific topics during the unfolding of the Age of Enlightenment.
