Document signed, one page, 8 x 11,5 inch, Berlin, `Auswärtiges Amt` (`Foreign Office`) stationery - with official stamps, 19.04.1899, in German, to the State Secretary of the Imperial Naval Office - concerning a report from the Naval Attaché in London regarding the parliamentary inquiries into the accidents on the ships ‘Terrible’ and ‘Niobe’, signed by Bernhard von Bülow in black ink, with browning and mild signs of wear to the edges - in fine condition.
"Der anliegende Bericht des Marine-Attaches in London No. 169 vom 15. d. Mts., betreffend Interpellationen im Parlament über die Unfälle auf `Terrible und `Niobe`, wird
dem Herrn Staatssekretär
des Reichsmarineamts
unter Bezugnahme auf das Allerhöchste Marginale zu dem unter Rückerbittung beigefügten Begleitbericht der kaiserlichen Botschaft ergebenst übersandt."
Translated:
"The enclosed report from the Naval Attaché in London, No. 169, dated the 15th of this month, concerning parliamentary interpellations about the accidents on the ships "Terrible" and "Niobe," is addressed to the State Secretary of the Imperial Naval Office with reference to the Imperial marginal note on the accompanying report from the Imperial Embassy, which is enclosed with a request for its return."
