Description
Autograph letter signed, one page, 4 x 6,25 inch, Pampigny, 2.08.1933, `Sénat` stationery, in French, reply letter to "Monsieur le Président" - concerning a reception of his correspondent, written and signed in dark ink "R. Poincare", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Raymond Poincare in a formal chest-up portrait (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch) with mild creasing, and foxing - in fine condition. Accompanied by personal visiting cards with autograph notes (one of them signed with initials).
In parts:
"[...] Je ne sais encore si je serai à Pampigny ou à Paris dans la partie du mois d`octobre, ou vous aurez l`amabilité de venir me voir. Mais je serai à l`une ou à l`autre de ce deux résidences [...] et vous recevrai avec plaisir. Croyez à mes sentiments les plus distingués"
Translated:
"[...] I do not yet know if I will be in Pampigny or in Paris during the month of October, where you will be kind enough to come and see me. But I will be at one or the other of these two residences [...] and will receive you with pleasure. Believe in my most distinguished feelings"
