Autograph letter signed, 1 1/2 pages (on two conjoined sheets), 5,25 x 8,25 inch, (Paris), in French, to his auto insurer Gaston Caplain - concerning a change of his car, written and signed in blue ink "Paul Signac", with scattered mild signs of wear - in fine to very fine condition.
In parts:
"Cher monsieur Caplain,
Je me decide par un [illegible] luxe Citroen 4pl. ... quand j`aurai vendre ma Renault,-
Mais Hachede me fait une offre que je ne trouve pas suffisante - Et je prefere la garder [...]"
Translated:
"Dear Mr. Caplain,
I decide on a luxury Citroen 4pl. [illegible]. ... when I sell my Renault, -
But Hachede makes me an offer that I do not find sufficient - And I prefer to keep it [...]"
