Rue de la Pompe - Passy 40-42` letterhead, 25.01.1927, in French, to an unnamed "Madame" - Mauriac expresses his delight at the invitation to lunch and mentions that he needs to discuss a matter with Abbé Sudre, written and signed in blue ink "Francois Mauriac", attractively mounted (removable) for display with an autograph business card and a photograph of Mauriac in a close-up portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with horizontal letter folds, browning and soiling - in nearly fine condition.
