Description
Autograph postcard signed, one page, 3,5 x 5,5 inch, Lido, (30.06.1927), in German, to Alfred Günther (writer from Dresden) - concerning a manuscript of his correspondent, written and signed in black ink "Hofmannsthal", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a photograph, shows Hugo von Hofmannsthal in a beautiful half length portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with small creases to the corners and mild foxing - in fine to very fine condition.

"… Wenn es Sie nicht verdriesst, dass Ihr Manuskript eventuell ein paar Wochen liegt, ehe ich die Zeit finde, es in die Hand zu nehmen, so schicken Sie es bitte nach Rodaun …"
Translated:
"... If you don't mind that your manuscript may be there for a few weeks before I find the time to take it in hand, please send it to Rodaun ..."
