Letter signed, one page, 8,5 x 5 inch (upper half folded), Berlin, 7.08.1837, in old German, reply letter to Hofmarschall (`lord stewart`) Ludwig von Massow (1794-1859), signed in black ink "Friedrich Wilhelm" - also inscribed by the collector in pencil, attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Frederick William III in uniform (altogether 11,75 x 16,5 inch), with intersecting mailing folds, mild foxing, and signs of wear to the edges - in fine condition.
