Description
Autograph letter signed, one page, 5 x 7,5 inch, `Le Figaro` stationery, (Paris), 10.05.1906, in French, to "Cher ami" - concerning bad news regarding an unnamed project, written and signed in dark ink "Gaston Calmette", with very mild signs of age wear - in nearly very fine condition.
In parts:
[...]"
Translated:
"Dear friend, I have some bad news for you, as I was unable to carry out the project I had been cherishing and which good friends had recommended.
When I have the pleasure of seeing you, I will explain the reasons, which should in no way inconvenience you: they are entirely unrelated to your application.
