Description
Typed letter signed, one page, 7.25 x 7.5, London, 22.01.1936. to an unnamed gentleman - concerning an autograph request and English Racing Automobiles (ERA), signed in dark ink "B. Bira", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows B. Prince Bira as racing driver (altogether 8,25 x 11,75 inch), with intersecting letter folds, a small area of paper loss to the upper right corner tip, and mild signs of age wear - in fine condition.
"Dear Sir,
I have pleasure in enclosing my autographed photograph as requested.
As you know I drive an E.R.A. car which I own privately. This firm has done much for English Motor Racing and deserves help from all enthusiasts. The firm published a book, `History of the E.R.A.`, the proceeds from the sale of which goes to help in the building of E.R.A. cars. This book should be bought by all who love Motor Racing. If you will send me 2 shillings and two pence (to cover the cost of book and postage) I shall be pleased to send you a copy by return.
