Description
Autograph letter signed, two pages (on two conjoined sheets), 4,75 x 7 inch, Buckingham Palace, 27.04.1858, to Sir Edward Cust - in response to a couple of questions having received the third volume of the Annals, regretting that it is not in his power "to go to Grantham to see or inaugurate the Newton Statue", the second informing Cust that the memoirs of Prince Friedrich Josias of Coburg "are being collected and written at this moment by Witzleben", written and signed in black ink "Albert", with intersectintg folds, and mild browning - in fine to very fine condition.
