Because we need money to grant the troops salaries..." (translated), signed by Jean Baptiste Bernadotte in black ink "J. Bernadotte", folded and attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Jean Baptiste Bernadotte I in uniform (altogether 11,75 x 16,5 inch), with intersecting letter folds, two small tears to the lower edge, and blank integral sheet is partially split - in fine condition.
