Autograph letter signed, one page, 4,5 x 7 inch, Weimar, 19.04.1872, in German, to an unnamed gentleman - concerning the merits of Robert Franz (1815-1892, German composer, mainly of lieder), written and signed in black ink "F. Liszt", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Franz Liszt as pianist (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with intersecting letter folds, and mild browning - in fine to very fine condition. Accompanied by an autograph letter signed by Eduard Hanslick (1825-1904, Austrian music critic, aesthetician and historian), one page, 5,75 x 8,5 inch, Vienna, 3.04.1888, in German, to an unnamed gentleman - Hanslick asked for a favour, written and signed in black ink "Ed. Hanslick", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Eduard Hanslick (altogether 12 x 9,5 inch), with browning, and scattered mild signs of wear to the edges - in fine condition.
