Letter signed, one page, 5 x 7,75 inch, Paris, 18.05.1828, in French, to the Editors of the Royal Almanach - concerning changes in the management of the Royal School of music, signed in black ink "L. Cherubini", attractively mounted (removable) for display with a portrait picture of Luigi Cherubini (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
In parts (translated):
"I have the honour of sending back to my brothers, the writers of the royal calendar, [...] a new tableau, according to the numerous changes which have taken place, since a short time in this administration. [...] Many members of the council of administration are still to be named. [...]"
