Autograph letter signed, one page, 5,25 x 7,25 inch, `Istitut de France - Le Secretaire perpétuel de l`Académie` stationery, Paris, 11.04.1835, in French, to Georges Bernard Depping (1784-1853, German-French historian and writer) - courteous letter in which Antoine Isaac Silvestre de Sacy thanks his correspondent on behalf of the Academy for sending Licquet's `Histoire de la Normandie`(published in 1835 with an introduction by Depping), written and signed in black ink "Le Baron Silvestre de Sacy", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a portrait picture of Antoine Isaac Silvestre de Sacy (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with horizontal letter folds, and mild browning - in fine to very fine condition.
