Autograph letter signed, one page, 3,75 x 5,5 inch, Hauteville House (St. Peter Port, Guernsey), 17.06.1873, in French, to Eugene Pelletan (1813-1884, French writer, journalist and politician) - Victor Hugo highly praises the book `Les uns et les autres` (1873) by his correspondent, written and signed in black ink "Victor Hugo", attractively mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Hugo seated in a chair (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with very mild signs of wear - in nearly very fine condition.
