"Lieber Herr Rosenhain,
Dank für Ihren Brief wollte ich Ihnen noch von hier aus sagen, und Ihnen zugleich mittheilen, daß wir wahrscheinlich schon Freitag kommen. Wir wollen dann selbst sehen, wo wir Platz bekommen, da mir H. Birtte schreibt s[ie] können uns die Zimmer erst vom 6ten Septbr. an geben, haben aber andere Zimmer, die wir vielleicht einstweilen nähmen. Das muß man sich doch erst selbst ansehen, und geht es dort nicht, Anderes suchen.

"Dear Mr. Rosenhain,
I wanted to thank you for your letter from here and at the same time tell you that we will probably be there on Friday. We then want to see for ourselves where we can get space, since H. Birtte writes to me that they can only give us the rooms from September 6th, but have other rooms that we might take for the time being. You have to see that for yourself first, and if that doesn't work there, look for something else.
