Typed letter signed, one page, 8,25 x 11,75 inch, `Prof. Dr. T. Reichstein - Institut für Organische Chemie - Universität Basel` letterhead, Basel, 22.10.1973, in German, reply letter to Mr. L. Temmen in Jever - concerning corticoids, signed in blue ink "T. Reichstein", with two horizontal letter folds - in nearly very fine condition.
"[...] Ich bin Chemiker und besitze keinerlei klinische Erfahrung. Soweit mir bekannt, haben die Corticoide in den üblicherweise verordneten Dosen aber keine teratogenen Eigenschaften. Es ist aber aus anderen Gründen bei der Verabreichung grosse Vorsicht am Platze."
Translated:
"[...] I am a chemist and have no clinical experience. As far as I know, however, the corticoids in the doses usually prescribed have no teratogenic properties. For other reasons, however, great care should be taken when administering it."
