Autograph postcard signed, one page - with stamp `Klee Bauhaus Weimar` and addressed to the reverse, 5,5 x 3,5 inch, Düsseldorf, 22.04.1921, in German, to art historian and museum director "Doctor Schardt" in Berlin - concerning an invitation and the reassurance of concerns from Goltz-Munich*, written and signed (to the reverse) by Paul Klee in pencil "Klee", attractivelly mounted (removable) for fine display with a photograph, shows Paul Klee in a close-up portrait (altogether 11,75 x 8,25 inch), with scattered small stains, browning, and puncher holes to the lower edge - in nearly fine condition.

"Sehr geehrter Herr Doctor
Ich bin schon gern bereit der Einladung von Valon Plustia zu folgen. Ich würde natürlich bitten, sich an Goltz-München zu wenden, und gleichzeitig durch Beruhigung oder Sicherstellung seine Bedenken, Sendungen nach dem Ausland zu machen, zu zerstreuen“

Translated:
"Dear Doctor
I am happy to accept the invitation of Valon Plustia. Of course, I would ask you to turn to Goltz-Munich, and at the same time, by reassuring or safeguarding, dispel his concerns about sending to foreign countries"

* Most probably Gallery Hans Golz in Munich: In more than 160 exhibitions, Goltz tried to acquaint the Munich public with modern art from home and abroad and presented paintings, graphics, sculptures and arts and crafts of Fauvism, Cubism and Expressionism. At that time (1922), Hans Goltz had become a general representative of the German-Swiss painter Paul Klee, who remarked in February 1920: "Goltz is working very well so far".
