Document signed, one page - also addressed to the reverse of a conjoined sheet, 8 x 12 inch, 17.12.1792, in French, historical report documenting military activities related to the French Revolutionary Army and Austrian troops, signed by Alexandre de Beauharnais in black ink "Alexandre Beauharnais", with browning and mild signs of age wear - in fine condition.

"[...] Les Autrichiens se proposent d`entrer dans la Ville de Basle à la faveur d`un incendie qui aura lieu dans cette Ville et qui sera annoncée comme de Coutume par des Coups de fusils et de Canon [...]"
Translated:
"[...] The Austrians intend to enter the city of Basel under cover of a fire that will take place in the city and which will be announced, as is customary, by gunfire and cannon fire. [...]"
